TRQQAS
The Sky God, adapted into Lycian as Trqqas, is equated with the Luwian Storm God Tarhunt/Tarhunzas. It is the same name with the double-bladed ax and lightning bolt that he carries in his hand. He is identical with Zeus of the Hellenes. In the Hellenic inscriptions of the 1st millennium BC, it is read as Trokondas and with this name it is respected in the cultural geography of Eastern Lycia, Pisidia and Pamphylia until the Roman Age.
